Security Ensures the safety of employees and others. Greets patrons and visually inspects bags, purses and patrons for unauthorized items. Reports to the Security supervisor, any violations, acts or situations which are detrimental to the best interest of HCCTR. Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, etc. Compliance Ensures behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards. Maintains complete confidentiality at all times with respect to the internal functions of the Security department as well as any other information deemed to be confidential. BRING US YOUR BEST. Education Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Previous customer service experience preferred. Skills Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must speak clearly and politely; respond well to questions. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees. License Must obtain licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commissions every year of employment. Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
