RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards. Operates and maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures. Performs duties in a safe manner; reports any potential safety hazards to management staff.
Support
Maintains clean and orderly buffets by restocking food items as necessary and communicating needs to kitchen staff. Provides positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
Performance
Maintains current and accurate information regarding menu (i.e., preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients, and plate presentation). Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
Customer Service
Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, restaurant staff, and culinary production team. Takes food and beverage orders, delivers prepared food promptly, and checks with table periodically to ensure guest satisfaction. Provides beverage service to guests as indicated by event guidelines and management.
Assist
Assists bus persons, as necessary, in bussing, cleaning, and setting tables.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills
Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to follow all departmental and property policies and procedures.
Schedule
Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Work Environment
Ability to work at a fast pace in an often crowded/noisy environment. Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team. Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, with previous food server experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Knowledge
Knowledge of wine service, table service procedures, and table etiquette strongly preferred.
