Cleaning Remove spots from carpets, perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning, dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection. Operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners and shop vacuums, and you will wear adequate personal protective equipment when working with chemicals and equipment. Cleaning hotel rooms, hallways, common areas and other areas. Quality Assurance Keeping inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance. Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor. Qualifications This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying noise levels, the severity of which depends upon work volume. Ability to communicate effectively with guests as well as all levels of employees. Ability to clean floors and replenish soft and hard supplies. Ability to effectively and efficiently move from floor to floor as needed. Physical Demands This position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds so as to be able to perform floor cleaning duties as needed. Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
