RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
Handles luggage for guests upon arrival or departure. Transports luggage between lobby and guest rooms. Receive and mark baggage by completing and attaching claim checks.
Performance
Maintain presentable entrances. Maintain constant communication with transportation, front desk, and messaging/PBX team members. Comply with all health and safety standards. Attend meetings as scheduled.
Assist
Assist physically challenged guests with special needs. The Bellperson assists guests in transporting luggage to and from guest rooms, coordinates guests' needs, requests and inquiries. Greet guests and escort them to their rooms when needed. Assist the Front Desk in delivering quick and efficient service to hotel guests. Assist guests with general questions about the rooms or other points of interest.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge
Knowledge of telecommunications systems. Knowledge of relevant equipment and ability to move people and goods. Ability to perform intermediate math.
Skills
Good verbal communication & listening skills. Great guest service skills. Trustworthy and have the ability to take care with people & protect property. Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with team members and guests. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
