What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Operations Leader position at Vizcom?
Location: San Francisco
We are open to a variety of seniority levels, but this role will sit on the leadership team
Who We Are:
At Vizcom, we’re reimagining how physical products are designed by fusing AI with human creativity to help designers move from sketch to reality at lightning speed. We’re looking for a Product Designer who obsesses over visual craft and interaction details, but also thrives on breaking new ground. This role will shape the future of our AI-powered sketching and collaboration tools, building experiences that feel as natural as drawing and as powerful as imagining something into existence. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team that values initiative, experimentation, and an eye for beauty.
The Role:
We are searching for a highly strategic, analytically minded operator to work directly alongside our CEO and senior leadership team. This person will be a key partner in shaping business strategy, improving operational execution, and leading cross-functional initiatives that move the company forward. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building structure from scratch, and has experience scaling a high-growth startup—especially through rapid headcount expansion, evolving processes, and financial discipline.
This role may sit at a variety of seniority levels (Head of Operations or VP of Strategic Operations) depending on candidate experience. Over time, this individual may assume responsibility for portions of Finance, FP&A, Business Operations, and strategic planning.
You’ll help shape the operational backbone of a rapidly scaling company while working side-by-side with a visionary founder. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact seat with visibility across the entire organization.
How You’ll Do It:
Our compensation is tiered by U.S. location to ensure equity across our remote team. We benchmark at the 75th percentile using industry-standard data sets (Carta, Pave). For this role, base salary and equity will be determined based on your zone:
