Manufacturing Associate – Biotech
📍 Location: Vacaville, CA (Onsite)
🕒 Shift: Rotating / Day / Night
💲 Pay Rate: 27.5/hr (Night Shift) or $25/hr on W2 (Day Shift)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support biopharmaceutical production operations in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role involves executing manufacturing processes for therapeutic proteins, maintaining compliance, and supporting production activities in a cleanroom setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing operations including buffer/media preparation, cell culture support, and filtration processes
- Execute SOP-driven tasks in compliance with cGMP and GDP requirements
- Operate and monitor bioprocess equipment (bioreactors, filtration systems, centrifuges)
- Complete batch records and documentation accurately and in real-time
- Perform cleaning, sanitization, and equipment setup activities
- Support material staging, dispensing, and inventory tracking
- Identify and report deviations, discrepancies, and process issues
- Maintain cleanroom standards, aseptic techniques, and gowning procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–3 years of experience in biotech/pharma manufacturing or lab environment
- Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and SOP compliance
- Experience with aseptic technique or cleanroom operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cell culture, upstream/downstream processing
- Familiarity with bioreactors, filtration, chromatography
- SAP or manufacturing systems exposure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
