Position Overview
The Accounting Manager will own core accounting operations and play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of Vivo’s financial reporting. This role blends corporate accounting with elements of project-based accounting (including WIP), and is key to strengthening financial processes as the company continues to scale.
You will be responsible for leading the close process, improving accounting operations, and partnering cross-functionally to enhance efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
This is a hybrid role based in Ogden, UT.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts with a high level of precision
- Ensure integrity of all financial data and reporting across the organization
- Maintain and improve cash forecasting processes to support operational decision-making
- Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of accounting policies and procedures
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company standards
- Partner cross-functionally to identify and execute process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support company initiatives and leadership decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of accounting experience, including WIP accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Proven experience leading or supporting month-end close processes
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with accounting systems/ERPs
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
