Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, including food handling, preparation, and presentation
Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to strict sanitation and hygiene standards
Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience
Collaborate with the dietary team to meet the nutritional needs of patients, including those with special dietary requirements
Perform administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies and inventory management
Participate inQuality Improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required ( Associates degree or higher in a related field preferred)
No prior experience required, but willingness to learn and train is essential
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending and standing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
