Maintenance Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Vivo Healthcare Ft Pierce in Fort Pierce, Florida. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of our facility to provide a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff. This is a part-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. Work schedule will be discussed as needed, primarily 3 days a week, and more as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the facility, including patient rooms, common areas, and offices
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as Painting, Plumbing repairs, and other assigned duties as pertained to Facility maintenance
- Assist with grounds and landscaping as needed
- Complete special projects and tasks as assigned by management
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to our patients and staff
Requirements:
- Facility Maintenance experience required
- Flexible in schedule some pm or overnight work required as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to work in Skilled nursing facility in a safe manor
