Customer Moves Specialist
As a Customer Moves Specialist, you will help each customer to build their 'dream package' to continue protecting their homes byproviding high-end customer service and offering Vivint products and services.
These revenue-generating initiatives are at the core of helping us provide premium service to our customers and will benefit them in a variety of ways.
We are looking for individuals that excel in using creative thinking skills and soft skills to help find tailored solutions during the move process.
As a Moves Specialist, you will have the support of your leadership that will coach you regularly to ensure success. All in all, we expect our Moves specialists to help in creating a seamless process that is Hassle-Free for each and every customer.
Training : Paid, Mandatory Training, 3 weeks 8am-4 : 30pm Monday - Friday
Starting Rate : $15.75 / hr Commissions
We want you to grow with us! Potential to make up to $16.75 / hr within your first year.
Unlimited Commissions : Specialists average between $300-$500 in commissionseach month with top performers making $1600 per month.
Essential Function / Responsibilities :
Analyze customer needs and adapt to their circumstances in order toprovide a world-class customer moving experience
Sell new systems and individual items to customers that are moving to a new address
Help customers see the value in purchasing new equipment and services
Generate leads for our Partner Insurance Agency, Solar and NRG
Assist customers in transferring their service to another individual
Answer inbound calls from Vivint customers & employees
Assist customers in understanding their bills and other account issues
Be an advocate for our customers, creating peace of mind
Expectations for Success :
- Grit and Resilience : Customer Moves Specialists must possess the determination and resilience to overcome challenges, handle rejection, and persevere in the face of obstacles, ultimately driving their success in upgrading customer accounts.
- Consistent Sales Performance : A successful Customer Moves Specialists is expected to consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, demonstrating a track record of delivering results and contributing to Vivint’s revenue growth.
- Effective Communication : Customer Moves Specialists must be able to explain complex product offerings in a simple and persuasive manner, ensuring that customers fully understand the value of upgrades and how they address their unique needs.
- Continuous Learning : Customer Moves Specialists are expected to stay current with our evolving product and service offerings, industry trends, and sales techniques.
Continuous learning and adaptation to changing market conditions are essential for achieving and maintaining success in this role.
Minimum Requirements :
Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role, preferably in a customer upgrades or sales specialist capacity.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must obtain a Burglar Alarm License through the Division of Occupations and Professional Licensing if living in the state of Utah (paid for by Vivint)
Required Working Conditions :
- Work-from-home employees cannot be the primary caregivers for children, other people, or pets while on shift.
- Have a quiet and private location from which to work
- Must be able to provide your own equipment. This entails :
- A computer (laptop or desktop) no older than 5-7 years (Please note our remote-based software does NOT work with Apple / Mac products, tablets, or Chromebooks.)
- Computer must run Windows 10 or higher
- Computer must have at least 8 GB RAM, 16 GB recommended
- Computer must have a webcam.
- A USB wired headset equipped with a microphone.
- Must have reliable internet : 10 MBPS download and 10 MBPS upload speeds
- Must have a wired internet connection
- A second monitor is strongly recommended if a laptop is being used
- An external mouse (if using a laptop)
