Advanced Aesthetician for Med Spa

Vivida Dermatology is well know in Las Vegas and Henderson for our excellent patient care for all skin conditions and access to our General Dermatology, Mohs Surgeries, and beautiful Med Spa.  Our patients enjoy the care they receive from the entire team, and that starts with the employee experience.

We currently have an opportunity for a Part Time Certified Advanced Aesthetician to join our Med Spa team with opportunity to grow into Full Time. Certification and experience is required.

*Pay rate is based on an hourly rate plus commissions.

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Advanced Aesthetician will be passionate, experienced, professional, and motivated to  provide skincare treatments for face and body to enhance an individual’s appearance by using a variety of laser and other cosmetic procedures in a comfortable, effective, and safe manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sterilize equipment and clean work areas.
• Examine clients' skin, using magnifying lamps or visors, when necessary, to evaluate skin condition and appearance.
• Perform standard facials, hydra facials, extractions, chemical peels, micro needling, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal etc.
• Demonstrate how to clean and care for skin properly and recommend, promote, and sell skin-care regimens.
• Select and apply cosmetic products and post treatment care.
• Stay abreast of latest industry trends, products, research, and treatments.
• Treat the facial skin to maintain and improve its appearance, using specialized techniques and products, such as peels and masks.
• Refer clients to medical personnel for treatment of serious skin concerns.
• Keep medical records of client needs and preferences and the services provided. Experience with medical charting in EMA is a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 Years of Experience (Required)
• High School Diploma/G.E.D
• Licensed Advanced Aesthetician (Copy of license required)
