Position Overview
As an IT Support Specialist (Entry Level), you will join our remote support team, tasked with helping users with daily technical challenges, system access, and software functionality. You will acquire skills in managing common IT requests, enhancing user productivity, and ensuring seamless system operations under the mentorship of senior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the initial point of contact for technical support inquiries through phone, chat, or email.
Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
Provide support for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (installation, configuration, and maintenance).
Assist in onboarding new users, setting up accounts, and granting system permissions.
Accurately log all incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
Refer more complex issues to senior technicians or IT engineers as necessary.
Keep documentation current for support procedures and issue resolutions.
Learn and implement best practices for cybersecurity and data protection.
Deliver outstanding customer service while upholding professionalism and patience.
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technical diploma preferred).
Fundamental understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and networking.
