- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management.
- Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to enhance store presentation.
- Answer customer inquiries via phone communication promptly and professionally, offering solutions or directing them to appropriate departments.
- Support inventory management by organizing stock, conducting stock checks, and ensuring shelves are well-stocked with seasonal and everyday items.
- Assist with floral arrangements or garden setup demonstrations when needed, showcasing creativity and technical skills.
Requirements
- Prior outdoor work experience or hands-on gardening knowledge is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions.
- Passion for horticulture, floral design, lawn care, landscape maintenance or related fields.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and merchandising displays effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting plants or equipment.
