We are seeking an Account Executive - Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team in markets OUTSIDE of our Baton Rouge Headquarters. Ideal candidates are self-motivated to identify potential clients and provide personalized solutions. Alongside an account coordinator, the outside sales representative will build and maintain positive relationships with customers. It is essential for candidates to communicate effectively with clients as well as team members. Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset are crucial to this role.

Reports To: Sales Manager

Compensation details: This is a BASE SALARY PLUS COMMISSION position. Commissions are not capped.

Location: This position is located at Prisma's Baton Rouge location. While this is an outside sales position, employees work on site.

Responsibilities:

Each Outside Sales Representative works directly and is supported by an inside account coordinator.

Own your number — consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets by deepening existing client relationships while aggressively pursuing new business

  • Hunt smart by strategically identifying and targeting high-fit businesses within your territory that align with our ideal customer profile
  • Stay visible and stay winning — conduct daily calls and face-to-face meetings that keep your pipeline full and your relationships warm
  • Champion our products and services as the go-to solutions expert for every customer in your territory
  • Cultivate a loyal client base by building genuine, long-term relationships that turn first-time buyers into repeat champions
  • Consult, don't just sell — educate customers on how our solutions create real financial and professional value for their business
  • Partner with the marketing team to amplify brand presence and ensure a consistent, powerful message in the market
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver seamless, on-time solutions that exceed customer expectations
  • Become the trusted advisor your key accounts can't imagine doing business without
  • Stay ahead of the curve by tracking account metrics and forecasting with precision to inform smart, proactive decisions
  • Craft compelling presentations, reports, and proposals that tell a persuasive story and move deals forward
  • Never stop learning — continuously sharpen your product knowledge to stay ahead of the competition and bring fresh value to every conversation
  • Show up and stand out at sales meetings, networking events, seminars, and trade shows as a confident ambassador for the brand
Qualifications:
  •  Minimum one year of outside sales experience in the Sign, Label, Printing, or Ad Specialty industry — you know this world and hit the ground running
  • A natural closer with polished presentation and negotiation skills that consistently seal the deal

  • Fiercely self-driven with a track record of not just meeting goals, but exceeding them — no hand-holding required

  • Proven success in account management with the instincts to build lasting, revenue-generating relationships

  • Exceptional communicator who commands the room at every level — from frontline teams to the C-suite

  • A consultative seller who listens first and delivers tailored solutions that genuinely solve client problems

  • Masterful at juggling multiple high-priority projects without letting a single detail slip through the cracks

Salary range: $40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
