What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Coordinator - Part-time position at Vivera Senior Living of Jeffersonville?
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents on and off the bus, using the vehicle lift, when necessary
- Walk residents into their appointment, picks them up from their appointments.
- Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior of the bus
- Completes any forms necessary for upkeep of bus
- Responsible for taking transportation requests and keeping track of all appointments
- Ability to coordinate multiple transportation requests in one day and accommodate all requests in a reasonable manner
- Ability to organize and coordinate directions to maintain the most efficient route
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when driving the Activity Bus, which supports team performance and productivity
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Must hold valid driver’s license
- Minimum age of 21 years or older preferred with driving record in good standing
- Prior experience in driving an Activity bus for the senior population is preferred
- Intermediate computer skills required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
