Position Summary:
The Business Manager is a key member of Vive Vascular who helps provide an atmosphere of compassion and quality care to patients and their families. The Business Manager works directly with the leadership team and all employees to uphold the mission of providing the best vascular care by living out our core values of Own it, Innovate it, Drive it and Love it. This position upholds the standards of professional performance of ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Adheres to all policies related to PHI and HIPAA privacy practices.
Working Conditions:
· Hourly, as needed
· Significant amount of time spent typing and using a computer screen – approximately 75% of the time
· Frequent walking throughout clinic location
· Frequent standing for long periods of time
· Moderate talking & phone usage
· Moderate local travel for business meetings and marketing
· Occasional need to wear lead apron/radiation protection equipment
· Occasional need to observe universal precautions/sterile operating room procedures

Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field: Required, Master’s degree preferred
· Equivalent work experience with training in medical practice management is acceptable as an alternative to Bachelors degree
· Minimum of one year experience as a business or operations manager: Required
· A minimum of three years of experience managing the daily operations of a fast-paced medical or surgical practice: Preferred
· Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) management: Preferred
· Experience with revenue cycle management with prior responsibility supervising in house billing or overseeing third party billing: Preferred
· Peripheral Vascular, Interventional Radiology and/or Cardiovascular experience: Preferred

Specific Duties:
· Directly manages all administrative staff
· Directly manages relationships with all third-party contractors and consultants
· Completes payroll and time management at least biweekly
· Reviews & approves contracts and manages relationships with all business associates
· Ensure all employees adhere to policies and procedures, compliance and safety standards
· Provides general human resources support to direct reports and other supervisory staff members including, but not limited to, recruiting, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, terminations, etc.
· Maintains up to date HR records for all employees and providers, ensuring clinician licensure/certifications are current
· Assists with scheduling of patients and ensures resources are optimized for business operations
· Monitors open encounters in the EMR and follows up to ensure they are completed/finalized
· Ensures staff are reliable in determining insurance eligibility and precertification is obtained when needed
· Ensures the facility is clean, safe and in good working order
· Manages relationship with janitorial staff and outside property management or third-party repair companies
· Maintains inventory of office and brand/marketing supplies
· Assists with accounting and payment/approval of invoices
· Provides necessary information to accounting firm to process and track financial performance of practice and maintain current financial records
· Coordinate office and medical equipment maintenance and purchasing with vendors
· Provides education and onboarding for new employees
· Communicates effectively with medical director and other providers as needed
· Maintain a clean and orderly office and workspace
· Support and collaborate with Clinical Manager
· Provide professional communication with all team members in a fast-paced work environment
· Adheres to applicable professional and ethical standards
· Other duties as assigned by leadership

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
