What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Fitness Instructor position at Vive for Women?
Duties:
- Lead and instruct fitness classes in various disciplines such as cycle, group fitness, yoga, CrossFit, Pilates, and more.
- Create and deliver engaging and effective workouts for participants of all fitness levels.
- Provide proper guidance and coaching to ensure participants are using correct form and techniques.
- Educate participants on the benefits of exercise and the importance of proper nutrition.
- Modify exercises or routines to accommodate individual needs or limitations.
- Stay up-to-date with current fitness trends and research to continually enhance class offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout space.
Requirements:
- Certification in one or more fitness disciplines such as cycle, group fitness, yoga, CrossFit, Pilates, or personal training.
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology and anatomy.
- Experience in sports coaching or personal training is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate participants.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and modify workouts based on participant needs.
- Passion for health and fitness with a desire to inspire others to reach their goals.
