What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Room Manager position at Vivante?
Vivante is a Luxury Senior Living community dedicated to providing quality lifestyles for our residents. We currently seek a highly motivated customer service focused Dining Room Manager to join our Culinary Staff. Number one requirement Must Love Seniors!
Must be able to commit to a flexible schedule, which does require some weekend work.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Supervise the Dining Room Manager(s) activities to be consistent with company standards.
-Direct and develop the service delivery and standards across the campus.
-As directed by the Senior Executive Director, participate in the hiring, evaluation, training, coordination, motivation, monitoring of performance, scheduling and supervision of dining room staff in accordance with company policy. Make recommendations to the Senior Executive Director with respect to staff evaluations, merit pay increases, reprimands, disciplinary actions and terminations as requested.
-Supervise to ensure consistency and quality of service of meals across the campus to ensure maximum resident enjoyment of the dining experience and that the services are delivered to residents in a continuous, predictable and efficient manner.
- Supervise service of meals across the campus to ensure maximum resident enjoyment of the dining.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Executive Director.

The right candidates will possess all of the following as well as specialty areas designated below:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fingerprint clearance as required by government regulations and negative TB test
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A flexible, energetic people person, capable of managing diverse personalities and projecting care and professionalism in all work related situations
