Scope of the Project:
The Quality Assurance Tester - Advanced will be assigned to projects for the client, in collaboration with the client Project Management Office (PMO).
The PMO is responsible for staffing all the client projects as well as establishing and monitoring IT related governance and standards, which are followed by all enterprise project teams.

Quality Assurance Analyst – Advanced
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing tests on technical solutions to isolate and solve issues. Initiates tests, analyzes results, and finds solutions to technical problems.
Demonstrate proficiency in the client test processes and SDLC tools
Demonstrate ability to translate functional and technical requirements and technical designs into test cases
Develop and execute functional and technical test cases under the direction of test leads and senior testers
Create and maintain SDLC traceability from test cases to requirements and designs/software components; Assist in generation of requirement traceability matrices
Participate in defect triage, retest, and resolution
Create quality assurance documentation and reports as required
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
2 years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
2 years knowledge of manual testing techniques (functional, regression, smoke, usability, boundary testing)
3 years deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid), business processes
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
2 years’ experience with large enterprise or e-business systems
3 years’ experience using QA tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar
3 years prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) & in an AGILE delivery
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, healthcare or related field. Years of experience can substitute for formal education.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
None required. Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources are desirable.
Additional Skills/Duties:
Develop and execute test cases; Clearly communicate and document test status and defects identified
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
