Job Description
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and improving the quality of electrical systems, components, and products. Your key skills will include supplier quality management, quality assurance, engineering, and technical development.
You will work closely with suppliers to ensure that their products meet our requirements and standards. This will involve auditing, evaluating, and qualifying suppliers based on their capabilities and performance.
In this role, you will also be responsible for conducting product inspections, visual and dimensional inspections, weld and coating inspections, and traceability checks. You will also participate in project execution, ensuring that all quality records are maintained and that Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT) is completed as required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including MV and LV electrical systems, and experience working with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL, and IEC standards. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
