Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Associate (RCA) to join our assisted living community in Oak Ridge, TN. The RCA will provide quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Half shift will be: 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Every other weekend rotation required

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide medication reminders and support as directed
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to resident needs
• Must be able to work every other weekend as part of the rotation
