We are looking to add a therapist to our team who is independently licensed in the state of California and would love to see if you're a good fit.

This is a great opportunity for a clinician who wants the benefits and flexibility of a private practice setting without the stress or extra work that comes with managing a business. Viva will handle all administrative (including billing and marketing) tasks and will provide clinical support for your caseload. Our goal is to minimize the amount of administrative work required so you can focus on providing quality mental healthcare to your clients.
Job duties include:
- Provide mental health counseling sessions for between 10 and 20 scheduled clients via telehealth per week. Caseload sizes are flexible within this range and vary based on individual preference.
- Maintain timely required clinical documentation and scheduling updates in client management system (training and support provided by Viva).
- Maintain appropriate follow up charting of current clients and referrals
- Communicate with members of the Viva team via email on a regular and timely basis when appropriate
The ideal candidate will be:
- Independently licensed as a registered mental health provider (LMFT LPCC, LCSW) in the state of California. We are not currently accepting AMFTs, APCCs, or ACSWs at this time.
- Highly motivated and independent
- Highly organized and responsive via e-mail
- Competent and excited to work with a wide range of clients such as, but not limited to people of color, LGBTQ, and people living with chronic conditions
- Able to work flexible hours, preferably some evening hours (after 5pm) but not required
- Willingness to work with couples therapy clients in addition to individual clients preferred but not required
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Openness to learn and adapt to provide individualized therapy to each client
- POC and LGBTQ providers are highly encouraged to apply!

Pay: $3,010.00 - $6,880.00 per month
