- Deliver Excellence: Provide attentive, friendly service in our beautiful dining room or charming outdoor patio.
- Share the Flavor: Use your knowledge of Cuban cuisine to recommend favorites like our signature Cuban sandwich, croquettes, or refreshing sangria.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the owners (Alejandro & Traci) and kitchen staff to ensure every guest has a five-star experience.
- Maintain the Vibe: Keep your section clean and organized while managing a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous high-volume or fine-dining server experience is preferred but not required—we value motivation and a great personality!
- Communication: Strong English communication skills are required to assist our diverse local and tourist clientele.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings during our live music events.
- Passion: An interest in Cuban cuisine is a major plus!

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Recommend menu items, upsell specials, and promote beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience from start to finish
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and resetting tables for new guests
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize service flow
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and billing procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential
- Previous serving or host/hostess experience is preferred; experience in upselling and sales techniques is highly valued
