Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and promptly to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service times to support overall restaurant flow.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing ingredients and assisting with basic food handling duties.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations.
- Help with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and maintain a hygienic workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures, food handling practices, and sanitation standards.
