Security Host (Part-Time) – Viva Karaoke x Studios
Viva Karaoke x Studios is looking for a friendly, attentive Security Host to help create a safe, welcoming Karaoke experience for every guest. In this role, you’ll combine security presence with hospitality, supporting smooth entry, monitoring guest reservations, and stepping in when needed to keep the space running comfortably.
What you’ll do:
Welcome guests and maintain a visible, approachable security presence in the lounge
Monitor guest entry and general activity, including respectful enforcement of venue rules
Handle minor issues calmly and professionally, escalating concerns as appropriate
Support staff during busy periods to keep the lounge organized and guest flow moving
Observe and report incidents, unusual behavior, or safety concerns promptly
Maintain a safe environment by staying alert to capacity, crowd movement, and overall conduct
Assist in the managing of reservations and the booking of reservations
What we’re looking for:
Strong situational awareness and a calm, confident approach
Excellent communication and guest-focused attitude
Reliability and comfort working a part-time, shift-based schedule
Good judgment and the ability to de-escalate concerns respectfully
Prior security or guest services experience is a plus, but not required
