About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Host who is warm, organized, and a confident communicator. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you'll set the tone for their entire experience, managing the flow of the floor, welcoming guests with genuine hospitality, and keeping service moving smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly and warmly
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table flow using OpenTable
- Communicate clearly with servers and management to keep seating organized and pacing on track
- Answer phones and assist with reservation inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area
- Help create a welcoming first impression that reflects the energy of Pesca Rooftop
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a host in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Must have working knowledge of OpenTable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, professional, and able to stay composed during high-volume service
- Available for full-time scheduling, including evenings/weekends as needed
