You make outstanding videos. You have the ideas, storytelling instincts, and directing skills to turn a brief into work that moves an audience. You know how to bring a creative team with you, from the first concept through the final cut.
VIVA Creative is looking for an Executive Video Producer with exceptional creative talent to help lead our video work and develop the people who make it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Video is central to what we do at VIVA, from widescreen content for live experiences to documentaries, corporate films, and commercials. We’re looking for someone whose work demonstrates a clear creative point of view and a high standard of craft.
Your primary focus will be the creative quality of our video work. You’ll partner closely with VIVA’s leadership and creative team to develop concepts, shape stories, and direct productions. You’ll stay involved through the edit, helping each project deliver on its creative promise.
You’ll also lead and mentor our in-house video team, build client relationships, and oversee production. Strong planning, sound budgets, and hands-on knowledge of AI tools will support the work you and the team create.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop distinctive video concepts with VIVA’s leadership and creative team.
- Write and shape treatments, scripts, and visual approaches for widescreen, documentary, corporate, and commercial video.
- Direct shoots and conduct interviews that bring out compelling, authentic stories.
- Guide the edit, pacing, sound, and visual execution through final delivery.
- Lead and mentor our video team, giving clear creative direction and useful feedback.
- Use AI tools across development and post to explore ideas and expand creative possibilities.
- Present creative work to clients, contribute to pitches, and oversee production plans, budgets, and delivery.
WHAT YOU BRING
- An exceptional reel showing original ideas, strong storytelling, and accomplished direction.
- A portfolio of outstanding widescreen, documentary, corporate, or commercial video.
- The ability to develop a creative approach and carry it through the shoot and edit.
- Experience leading creative teams and collaborating with senior creative leadership.
- Hands-on fluency with AI video, image, voice, audio, and post-production tools.
- Strong production experience, including crew direction, interviews, budgets, and schedules.
- Clear communication, thoughtful creative judgment, and a collaborative approach with teams and clients.

WORKING AT VIVA
This role is fully in person at our Rockville studios. Working together is part of our creative process, from planning a shoot to reviewing a cut. You’ll work alongside producers, editors, designers, and other creatives who care deeply about what they make.
COMPENSATION
