State Manager - MA/RI

Viva Beverages is expanding. We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven, sales and marketing hybrid to lead our premium portfolio—anchored by Viva Tequila Seltzer—across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The Role: You will own distributor alignment, execute chain/retail programs, and scale brand awareness through experiential event marketing, venue partnerships, and high-energy activations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Drive Commercial Execution: Maximize retail distribution, premium shelf placement, and floor display execution across MA & RI on- and off-premise accounts.
• Wholesaler Partnership: Build collaborative, high-alignment relationships with distributor teams; drive trimester planning and market execution.
• Lead Brand Activations: Execute high-impact grassroots marketing, venue sponsorships, and localized consumer samplings to drive trial.
• Market Intelligence: Leverage field data (VIP/Encompass) and modern workplace tools to track, analyze, and accelerate territory growth.

• 3 years of beverage alcohol supplier or distributor experience within the New England market.
• Strong understanding of the 3-tier system and Massachusetts/Rhode Island retail execution.
• Exceptional, proactive communication style with a collaborative, low-ego mindset.
• Must be 21 with a clean driving record, the physical ability to manage field assets (cases/displays), and flexibility for event-driven travel (25–50%).

Compensation & Perks:

• Base Salary: $100,000
• Performance Bonus: Up to $25,000
• Support & Allowances: Dedicated Trade Activation dollars to support local programming, plus travel expense allowances.
