Human Resources Director — Viva/Fiesta Auto Group
Location: Albuquerque, NM or El Paso, TX
Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000 (depending on experience)

Position Overview
We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Human Resources Director to lead HR across the group. This role will shape policy, strengthen compliance, and help build an outstanding employee experience from the sales floor to the service bays.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee HR operations across multiple dealerships and business units, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and compliance.
- Develop and implement group-wide HR policies, systems, and reporting structures.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business goals.
- Manage employee relations, investigations, and performance issues with fairness and discretion.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws in NM, TX, and CO.
- Oversee payroll coordination, benefits, and total-rewards programs.
- Lead management training, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
- Supervise HR staff and serve as the primary point of contact for GMs and department heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s or SHRM-CP/PHR preferred).
- 7 years of progressive HR leadership, ideally in retail, automotive, or multi-location environments.
- Proven knowledge of multi-state employment law and compliance.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting with direct ownership access.
