Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Assist with food presentation to ensure dishes are visually appealing
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Ensure all food preparation meets customer specifications
Experience
- Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is advantageous
- Proven culinary experience in restaurant or fine dining settings
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
- Experience with, meal preparation, and food service operations
- Skilled in knife handling, meal assembly, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Background in the food industry with a focus on quality control and customer satisfaction
- Familiarity in a fast-paced environment is preferred
