The Opportunity
- Up to $50k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
- Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
- ACLS and BLS required for non-Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
- Current IN state license is a plus.
- Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
Henry Community Health – New Castle, Indiana
- 65-bed hospital with an annual volume of 21,500.
- 13 primary beds in the Emergency Department plus 3 fast track beds.
- 13% admit rate; 7% peds.
- Cerner EMR.
- Sub-specialty backup includes surgery, OB/GYN, peds, cardiology, ortho, and urology.
- Good patient mix, collegial staff, good relationships with ancillary staff, and responsive local administration.
