The Opportunity
- Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
- Current GA state license is a plus.
- Visa Candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
Emory Decatur Hospital – Decatur, Georgia
- Vituity staffed since 2005.
- STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center.
- 451-bed facility with 29 Emergency Department beds and a 10-bed Clinical Decision Observation Unit.
- Internal waiting rooms with 25 capacity, 4 psychiatric stabilization rooms, several expedited care and FAST areas.
- Annual ED volume of 70,000 with all sub-specialty backup.
- In-House Neurology M-F and TeleNeuro weekends and overnights.
- Vituity staffed since 2005.
- 100-bed facility with 29 ED beds.
- 65,000 annual ED volume.
- Epic EMR with Dragon dictation
- STEMI transfers go to Emory Decatur Hospital.
- Runner up in the TAT-D collaborative which had over 20 hospital teams throughout the country with the goal of reduction of turnaround time to discharge.
