The Opportunity
- Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
- Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
- Previous hospitalist/inpatient experience is required.
- Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
- Current SC state license is a plus.
- Daytime rounding on 10-14 patients.
- Flexible full-time schedules available.
- Required to work two weekends per month.
- Primarily days, but may work up to two 5pm-1am cross coverage shifts per month with shift differential.

- 230-bed hospital with an open ICU.
- STEMI Receiving Center.
- 17 encounters per day per hospitalist on average and 8 encounters per night per nocturnist on average.
- Annual volume of almost 10,000.
- 94-bed hospital with an open ICU.
- Annual volume of approximately 2,300.
- 16 encounters per day per hospitalist on average and 7 encounters per night per nocturnist on average.
