About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Media Planner to lead day-to-day media planning for a healthcare client. This person will play a key role in translating business objectives, audience insights, and healthcare service-line priorities into smart, compliant, and measurable media strategies.
The Senior Media Planner will own planning workstreams, guide junior team members, evaluate media partners, and help deliver thoughtful recommendations across brand awareness, patient acquisition, service-line growth, and local market activation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of integrated media plans across digital, social, search, CTV/OTT, audio, OOH, print, and traditional channels.
- Translate client objectives into strategic media recommendations by audience, geography, service line, and funnel stage.
- Build clear media rationales, budget allocations, flowcharts, tactical plans, partner recommendations, and campaign timelines.
- Guide RFP development, vendor evaluations, proposal analysis, negotiations, and partner selection.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to define KPIs, measurement frameworks, optimization plans, and reporting needs.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
- Partner closely with account, strategy, creative, analytics, and activation teams to ensure media plans are aligned and executable.
- Support client presentations, POVs, planning decks, post-campaign recaps, and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure media plans are compliant with healthcare advertising standards, privacy guidelines, platform restrictions, and client approval processes.
- Mentor junior media team members and help improve planning processes, templates, and quality control.
- Stay informed on healthcare media trends, patient behavior, privacy changes, and emerging media opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in media planning, integrated media strategy, or media buying.
- Healthcare, hospital system, pharmaceutical, insurance, or regulated-category experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of full-funnel media planning, including awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention.
- Experience planning across paid social, programmatic, CTV/OTT, paid search, OOH, audio, and traditional media.
- Ability to develop strategic recommendations supported by data, audience insights, and media rationale.
- Strong budget management, attention to detail, and quality control skills.
- Experience reviewing media proposals, negotiating with vendors, and evaluating partner fit.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with comfort presenting recommendations to internal and client teams.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Experience with tools such as CM360, Google Ads, Meta, GA4, MRI-Simmons, Comscore, Pathmatics, or similar platforms is a plus.

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
