The Conservatory for the Performing Arts at Viterbo University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions across a range of disciplines in theatre, music, and dance. Adjunct instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to support instruction in applied, studio, classroom, or ensemble settings.
Primary Responsibilities May Include:
- Teaching undergraduate courses in Conservatory programs (BFA Musical Theatre, BFA Acting, BA Music, BM Music, etc.)
- Providing individualized instruction in applied or performance-based disciplines
- Supporting student development and learning in alignment with Conservatory curriculum and goals
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure an excellent student experience
Qualifications:
- A terminal degree (MM, MFA, DMA, PhD) in the relevant field is preferred
- A bachelor's degree with substantial professional and/or teaching experience may be considered
- Prior college-level teaching experience and/or professional work in the field is highly valued
