What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Vitavie Miami?
VitaVie is a Parisian-inspired healthy brunch restaurant in South Miami, part of a growing hospitality group. We’re building our team ahead of opening and looking for an experienced barista to craft great coffee and a warm guest experience.
Your role
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, matcha and other beverages to a high standard
- Operate and maintain the espresso machine and grinder, and dial in coffee throughout the day
- Keep your station clean, organized and fully stocked
- Work closely with the kitchen and floor team to deliver smooth service during busy brunch hours
- Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista in a restaurant, café or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming and latte art
- Ability to work at pace in a high-volume service environment
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Passion for quality coffee and hospitality
- Availability on weekends and holidays
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bilingual English/French or English/Spanish is a plus
