The Customer & Marketplace Insights team at Vitamix is transforming to enable a deeper, more integrated understanding of consumers, shoppers, brands, competitors, product categories, and market dynamics.
The Insights Analyst plays a critical role in translating data into actionable business intelligence that fuels growth. This role partners closely with Marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver clear, insight-driven recommendations through market research, syndicated data, and advanced analytics.
The Analyst will act as a trusted advisor, helping the organization make smarter, quicker decisions by linking different data sources into clear, persuasive stores. This role is instrumental in elevating insights from reporting to strategic influence, helping shape how Vitamix competes, innovates, and grows in an increasingly dynamic marketplace.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Synthesize data from multiple sources (e.g., syndicated POS, CRM, primary research) into clear, actionable recommendations that influence business strategy.
- Support development of recurring and ad hoc reporting that drives decision-making across the organization.
- Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative research studies.
- Support end-to-end management of primary research projects, from scoping through delivery.
- Contribute to the development of domestic and international surveys.
- Analyze syndicated datasets (e.g., Circana/IRI/Nielsen) and internal data to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Apply analytical thinking to translate complex datasets into simple, compelling insights.
- Identify and evaluate new tools, partners, and methodologies to enhance research capabilities.
- Explore innovative approaches to collecting, synthesizing, and activating insights across the organization.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels through presentations and reports.
- Drive broader access to insights by improving how knowledge is documented, archived, and shared.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
2-4 years experience in market research, analytics, or a data-driven insights role
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Statistics or related field
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Exposure to managing or supporting primary research projects end-to-end
- Experience working with syndicated data sources (e.g. Circana, Nielsen, IRI) strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
- Experience with data visualization or analytics tools is a plus
- Comfort working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Exposure to pricing analysis, assortment optimization, or data analytics through internships or relevant coursework
- Strong foundational knowledge of statistical analysis or quantitative modeling
- Experience in consumer durables, CPG, or retail environments is preferred
- Familiarity with the design and execution of custom or primary research projects through coursework or internships

Physical Demands:
