What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development / Feasibility Lead — Clinical Research position at Vitaly Clinical Research?
We're looking for the person who turns "no studies" into "we can't keep up with the studies."
Vitaly Clinical Research is building one of the largest clinical research networks in the U.S., powered by something most sites would kill for: we own the clinics that feed our trials with patients. The sites are ready. The patients are ready. We need one person to go get the studies — and never let a single one slip through the cracks.
This is the engine seat. If you're a hunter who's also obsessively organized, keep reading.
What you'll own (results, not "duties"):
- Win studies. Get our sites on the radar of CROs and sponsors, respond to every feasibility questionnaire fast and sharp, and convert them into awarded trials.
- Never miss one. Run our pipeline like a machine — monitor every open and upcoming study, apply to everything that fits, and follow up relentlessly. Zero studies lost to silence.
- Build the relationships. Become the name CRO site-selection teams and sponsor clinical-ops people know and trust.
- Use our unfair advantage. We can pull real eligible-patient numbers from our clinics' records — you'll turn that into enrollment projections that make sponsors choose us over bigger, older sites.
- Move deals forward. Shepherd CDAs, budgets, and contracts to the finish line.
Who this IS for:
- A closer who's also a systems person — you love the chase and the spreadsheet.
- Someone who follows up until they get an answer, then follows up again.
- A self-starter who treats an unanswered email like an open loop that must close.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a strong plus.
Who this is NOT for:
- If "I sent the application, now I wait" is your style, this isn't for you.
- If details and deadlines slip through your fingers, don't apply.
- If you need a script handed to you for every move, there are better fits elsewhere.
Requirements:
- 2 years in business development, sales, account management, or clinical research operations.
- Ruthless organization and follow-through — you can run a pipeline of dozens of opportunities without dropping one.
- Strong written English for professional outreach to CROs and sponsors.
- Clinical research / CRO / site experience is a major plus — but if you're a proven closer hungry to learn this industry, we'll teach you the rest.
The offer:
- $50,000 base performance bonus tied to studies awarded — your wins directly grow your paycheck.
- Real ownership: you run the entire study-acquisition function, with the systems and data already built for you.
- A clear path to lead the BD team as we scale across our network.
- Remote-friendly, with the autonomy to run your pipeline your way — as long as the results show up.
How to apply:
Don't send a generic CV. In 3–4 lines, tell us: what's the hardest "yes" you've ever earned — a deal, a relationship, or a system you built that kept things from falling through the cracks? That tells us everything.
If you want to own the engine that's going to make this network impossible for pharma to ignore — apply today.
