What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician / Dental Technician / Assistant Practice Manager (Leadership Track) position at VitalWell Holistic Veterinary Center?
We are a newly established, forward-thinking, privately owned (non-corporate) veterinary clinic in Lutz seeking an experienced Junior Manager / Veterinary Technician / Dental Technician ready to step into a leadership-track role within a growing integrative practice.
This hybrid clinical and management position is designed for a confident technician who enjoys both advanced patient care and helping guide team workflow, training, and hospital operations. Responsibilities include skilled technical duties — including dental radiography and procedural support — along with leadership functions such as inventory oversight, staff coordination, protocol implementation, and accountability follow-through. Time is intentionally structured to allow success in both management and clinical responsibilities.
We are one of the rare independent veterinary practices where decisions are made locally — by veterinarians, for patients and clients — not corporate metrics. Our hospital emphasizes integrative and root-cause medicine, incorporating services such as mercury-free vaccines, vaccine titers, ozone therapy, microbiome medicine, regenerative therapies (PRP and stem cell), rehabilitation support, bioresonance, and hormone replacement therapies.
This role is best suited for someone who is dependable, self-directed, and solutions-oriented, and who wants more than a routine technician position. You should be motivated to help build systems, mentor team members, and grow alongside a practice where your leadership, initiative, and voice truly matter.
