Role Overview
The Low Voltage Estimator and Project Manager is responsible for preparing clear and accurate estimates, managing project execution, and coordinating with clients, field teams, and subcontractors. Success in this position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and an understanding of industry standards and installation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimates using Bluebeam for low voltage scopes including structured cabling, security, access control, CCTV, AV, and related systems
- Prepare proposals, pricing models, and value engineering options with accuracy and clarity
- Lead projects from kickoff through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, documentation, and communication with stakeholders
- Maintain organized project records within Contractor Foreman, Microsoft Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite
- Conduct job walks to evaluate site conditions and coordinate with subcontractors, technicians, and general contractors
- Ensure quality installation, timely delivery, and professional client interaction
- Participate in handoff meetings, internal reviews, and process improvements

Desired Experience and Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, security integration, or related construction fields as an estimator
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Contractor Foreman is preferred
- Strong ability to read plans, riser diagrams, specifications, and system layouts
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and responsiveness
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience leading field teams or managing subcontractors is a plus

Base salary range: $70,000 to $95,000
