Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Enjoy only 182.5 working days per year with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off) while earning a competitive full-time salary. 1-3 year contract. Where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Inpatient consults and rounding
- Outpatient cardiology clinic -4 days/week
- 24/7 Interventional and General call during block schedule
Diagnostic & Interpretive Duties:
- Diagnostic LHC/RHC – Coronary angiography
- Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
- Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
- IVUS
- Nuclear cardiology studies
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Supervise or interpret stress testing
Procedures:
- Cardioversion
- Cardiac Cath – Diagnostic/PCI
- IABP
- Temporary Pacemakers
- Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
- Peripheral Intervention (preferred but not required)
Collaborative Environment: Work closely with APP, PCP, Hospitalist, General Cardiologist
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
- 50 PCIs performed per year over the previous two years
- Tennessee medical license (or ability to obtain one)
- DEA
