Join a collaborative team in Murray, Kentucky, delivering high-quality cardiovascular care within a nationally recognized program that includes an ACC‑accredited Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This full-time opportunity (182.5 days/year) uses a structured block schedule (example: 7 days on/7 days off) for predictable clinical coverage and personal time. Contract length: 1–3 years.
Clinical duties
- Outpatient cardiology clinic and inpatient consults
- Heart failure, lipid, and hypertension management
- 24/7 call responsibility during block coverage
- Close collaboration with APPs, primary care, and hospitalist teams
Diagnostic and interpretive responsibilities
- Diagnostic LHC/RHC and coronary angiography
- FFR, iFR, IVUS
- TEE and supervision/interpretation of stress testing
- Nuclear cardiology studies and cardiac MRI interpretation
Interventional and procedural responsibilities
- Diagnostic cardiac cath and PCI
- Cardioversion, IABP, temporary pacemaker management
- Pacemaker implantation preferred (not required)
- Peripheral interventions, thrombectomy preferred, and renal denervation
Qualifications
- BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
- Current or eligible for IMLC state licensure (licensure facilitation provided)
- Minimum 50 PCIs in the last 12 months
- Minimum 150 diagnostic right and/or left heart catheterizations in the last 24 months
