What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mohs Surgeon - Champaign, IL position at VitalSkin Dermatology?

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide Mohs surgery services for a growing patient base.

Early on, Dr. Jeremy Youse knew that dermatology was the right career for him. Growing up in Hannibal, MO, Dr. Youse struggled with severe psoriasis in grade school and junior high, so much so he traveled nearly two hours each way to St. Louis three times a week just to get the right treatment. But after?seeing his skin clear up and regaining his confidence, he knew he wanted to help others with similar issues, as that dermatologist had helped him.

Now, Dr. Youse continues to positively impact the lives of countless patients with world-class dermatology care and support, from common skin problems such as acne and rashes to more serious issues like skin cancer. He specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer removal. This ensures complete cancer removal during surgery, virtually eliminating the chance of cancer growing back and minimizing the amount of healthy tissue lost. Dr. Youse is committed to treating people, not just skin. He seeks to give every patient that same level of relief and confidence he experienced.

Dr. Youse graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Medicine in Columbia, MO. He also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated as class valedictorian from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. He completed a residency and fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He’s certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery, and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Outside of the office, Dr. Youse enjoys spending time with his wife, Sophie, and two daughters, Stella and Halle. He also enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities, reading and binging Netflix.
