What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tow Truck Dispatcher Part-Time (weekday evenings/weekend) position at Vitalone's Towing?
Vitalone's Towing is a family owned 24/7 towing company located in Willoughby, Ohio and has been in business since 1981.
We are hiring a part-time dispatcher for weekday evenings/ weekends. 14-35 hours per week. Must be available to work at least one shift on Saturday or Sunday.
Example of Shifts:
Week Days Second Shift: 4pm-11pm
Weekends First Shift: 8am-2pm
Weekends Second Shift: 2pm-11pm
Job Description:
- Answer phone calls for towing company.
- Dispatch tow trucks to impound vehicles and recover accidents for police departments, impound vehicles off of private properties, and transport vehicles for accounts and private customers.
- Provide customer service to persons whose vehicles have been impounded.
- Miscellaneous office work, filing, paperwork, office cleaning, etc.
- Applicants must be polite, detail oriented, good with directions, and familiar with Lake County. Basic computer skills and legible handwriting are necessary for the job.
Pay rate starting at $15/hr depending on experience and availability.
Experience is not necessary, but a plus. The ideal candidate has experience in the automotive industry, but we are willing to train the right person!
