This is a full-time on-site role located in Chicago, IL for an Outbound Call Center Debt Collections Specialist. The Specialist will be responsible for contacting individuals regarding outstanding accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and implementing effective communication techniques to arrange payment solutions. The role requires managing multiple customer interactions, maintaining organized records, and adhering to compliance standards while meeting or exceeding collection goals.
- Proficiency in Customer Support and Customer Service, including handling inquiries and resolving issues effectively
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
- Experience working within Contact Centers or call center environments with a focus on efficiency and professionalism
- Basic to intermediate Computer Literacy, including familiarity with database systems, email platforms, and general office software
- Interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and meet performance metrics
- Previous experience in debt collection, financial services, or a similar industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in customer service or collections are advantageous
