Pay Range (Based on Experience)
We offer competitive pay that reflects your level of experience, certifications, and responsibilities:
- DSS (Entry-Level): $17 – $19/hour
- DSP I: $19 – $21/hour
- DSP II: $21 – $23/hour
- DSP III: $23 – $25/hour
- DSP IV / Lead DSP (Supervisory): $25 – $30/hour
Additional compensation opportunities include shift differentials, retention bonuses, referral bonuses, and performance-based incentives.
Shifts Available

- Morning, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Full-time, part-time, and per diem (on-call) positions

Key Responsibilities for all DSP Levels
In all roles, you will play an essential part in supporting residents’ daily lives and ensuring their safety and well-being:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as hygiene, dressing, grooming, and meals
- Provide consistent supervision to ensure safety and a structured environment
- Support residents in building independence and developing daily living skills
- Follow individualized care plans and behavioral support strategies
- Accurately document daily activities, progress notes, and any changes in condition
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment
- Accompany residents to appointments, outings, and community activities, as needed
Mid-Level DSP Roles (DSP II / DSP III)
As you grow into more experienced roles, you will take on additional responsibilities requiring greater independence and clinical awareness:
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with established procedures
- Monitor residents' physical health and behavioral needs, reporting changes promptly
- Respond effectively to emergencies, incidents, and behavioral challenges
- Complete detailed documentation, including incident reports and compliance logs
- Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level staff
- Support higher-acuity residents with more complex care needs
Advanced & Supervisory DSP Roles (DSP IV / Lead DSP)
In this advanced or leadership role, you will help ensure smooth operations and high-quality care during each shift:
- Provide real-time coaching, training, and support to team members
- Oversee documentation, compliance, and adherence to care standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incidents, concerns, and escalations
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Assist with onboarding and training new employees (Lead DSP mainly)
- Ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery across the team (Lead DSP only)
- Supervise staff and coordinate daily assignments to maintain proper coverage (Lead DSP only)
Qualifications / Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and drug test
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license (if required by role - DSP I and above)
Experience Levels
We hire across multiple experience levels and provide support for growth:
- Entry-Level (DSS / DSP I): No prior experience required; training is provided
- Mid-Level (DSP II / DSP III): (1) Previous caregiving or direct support experience preferred; and (2) Exposure to medication administration or behavior support is a plus
- Advanced (DSP IV): (1) Several years of relevant experience preferred; and (2) Strong problem-solving, documentation, and crisis-response skills required; and (3) Advanced level of knowledge of compliance, documentation, and care coordination
- Supervisory (Lead DSP): (1) Extensive experience in direct support or healthcare settings; (2) Prior leadership or supervisory experience required; and (3) Strong knowledge of compliance, documentation, and care coordination
