Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions to determine appropriate treatment strategies
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on rehabilitation, pain management, and functional improvement
- Utilize behavioral interventions and wound care techniques to support recovery goals
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently to document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and self-care practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and optimize patient outcomes
- Use telehealth platforms to deliver remote consultations and follow-up sessions when necessary
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities to ensure inclusive patient care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and hyperbaric medicine is preferred but not required
- Basic life support (BLS) certification and CPR training are mandatory for safety compliance
- Strong client communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and motivate patients
- Familiarity with wound care procedures, behavioral interventions, and telehealth technology
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent teamwork skills
