As a System Analyst at Vital IT Network Systems (VINS), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our clients' IT systems. You will work directly with our clients and collaborate with the other members of the support team to resolve complex technical issues and deliver outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to clients, addressing complex hardware and software issues, network configurations, and system integration.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve escalated IT issues, applying analytical problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, explaining technical concepts in non-technical language and providing regular updates on issue resolution progress.
- Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of technical issues, resolutions, and configurations to facilitate future troubleshooting and reporting.
- System Maintenance: Assisted in the maintenance and monitoring of client systems, ensuring they operated smoothly and proactively identified potential problems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to escalate and delegate tasks, fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions and recommendations to clients.
- Other Duties:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate all relevant IT events and issues with appropriate staff regularly and efficiently.
- Local travel is required and must have reliable transportation.
- Participate in on call rotation for afterhours support.
- Maintain system capabilities by testing existing equipment and programs.
- Other related duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
- Proven experience in a similar technical support role within an MSP.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, hardware, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
