Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – PRN

Vitality Home Care is a locally owned and operated home care agency dedicated to providing compassionate, dependable personal assistance services that allow clients to remain safe and comfortable in their homes. We are currently seeking PRN Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) who have a heart for caregiving and a passion for serving others.
Position Summary
Personal Care Assistants provide hands-on personal care and meaningful companionship to clients, supporting their independence, dignity, and emotional well-being. This role is ideal for individuals who lead with compassion, patience, and empathy and understand the importance of human connection in caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Encourage independence while ensuring safety and comfort
- Assist with mobility and fall prevention
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide transportation and assist with errands as assigned
- Observe, document, and report changes in client condition
- Maintain accurate documentation per agency standards
- Follow care plans, safety protocols, and HIPAA requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Caregiving or personal care experience preferred (not required)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs as needed
Schedule & Pay
- PRN / As-needed scheduling
- Weekday, evening, and weekend shifts available
