What You’ll Do

About the Role
The Business Office Director oversees daily business operations—including accounting, HR/People & Culture, concierge, and transportation—while supporting an exceptional resident and team member experience. This leader partners closely with the Executive Director to ensure smooth operations, regulatory compliance, and a welcoming, service-driven community.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the Business Office, Concierge, and Transportation teams.
- Oversee accounts payable, billing, deposits, collections, and budgeting.
- Maintain accurate resident files, lease paperwork, and billing records.
- Manage payroll processes, HR documentation, onboarding, and personnel files.
- Support hiring, coaching, training, performance reviews, and team development.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
- Participate in community tours, events, and the Leader on Duty rotation.
- Promote a safe, positive, and resident-centered environment.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience as a Business Office Director (Assisted Living/Memory Care preferred)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting processes and HR best practices
- Experience with compliance, audits, and state regulations
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Passion for serving older adults
